Deer Lakes Web Design is just me, Jesse Lind. I build websites for small businesses that can't or don't want to spend thousands up front, and I keep them running after launch.
Why I started
A good website shouldn't cost a small business thousands of dollars before it brings in a single customer. I kept seeing owners either go without a site or pay a lot for one that loaded slowly and never showed up on Google. A monthly plan fixes the first problem, and doing the work properly fixes the second.
What I care about
Every site I build gets the same priorities:

About me
My story
I'm Jesse, and I run Deer Lakes Web Design by myself. I've been building websites since 2016. I started because I wanted to know how websites worked and why some looked so much better than others. I'm mostly self-taught. I learned by pulling apart fast, well-designed sites to see what made them good, and I still write every site by hand.
I believe people should use what they're good at to help others, and for me that turned out to be small businesses. A lot of owners can't put thousands of dollars into a website up front. The ones who do often get overcharged, or end up with a slow site nobody can find. So I price it differently. You pay nothing down and $100 a month, which means you aren't betting a big check on work you haven't seen yet. If you don't like the design, you can get your money back any time before you approve it.
